Study Comprehensively: You are required to have complete understanding and control over the pattern of the examination. For example, one should have a thorough understanding of the sub topics of the syllabus, type of the questions they are asking, current situation etc. With the syllabus so enormous, and competition so robust, your preparation must be inclusive and keen. Please go through the syllabus again and again repeated papers for better understanding. As part  attempts of your preparation approach, make notes on each topic cited in the syllabus, and complement them with the current affairs. You should be able to write one page /100-150 words on each topic mentioned in the syllabus with an acceptable prominence on current affairs.

Understand the demand of question: Pick up questions from previous years papers and read them again and again to see if you able to clearly recognize the difficulties of the questions. Discuss with your friends and try to identify if there are any breaks in identifying the key aspects in a question. It is common for many students to misunderstand 1-2 questions in any paper in a rush to complete the paper. Practicing a lot of papers with static time will surely help you get better even in a tight situation.

Daily answer writing: Writing your answer on daily basis will help you to improve your skills and also help you in understanding the demand of a question and the changing pattern of that particular question. It is very important that a aspirant should know how to write answer. Test &assessment: As you are confident enough to write your answer individually, you must join test series and check your skills in a proper paper time span. Write essays and prepare notes on these topics – they will help you in structuring essays as well as time management and if you are blessed you might get a ready topic in the essay paper.
